Phil created this piece in his spare time around the city of Chicago. He rigged up 2 DSLRs and 1 GoPro around a Mini Cooper convertible and drove with his friend Hunter Hudsmith around the city gathering shots. People thought they were the Google Maps car because of all the cameras sticking out. For the remaining time-lapses he sat on rooftops around the city, mainly in Lincoln Park, during golden hour. In total he shot over 10,000 photos for this project.
It has been featured in the Chicago Luminarts Foundation’s Art Gallery.
